St. Peter's SS Bombo-Kalule was founded by Oweekitiibwa Dr. Ronald Mulondo (PhD) (currently Kkangaawo-Bulemeezi) and started on 7th February 2011 after him becoming the winner of the ‘Entandaya Buganda’ in 2009
In 2009 December, the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald MuwendaMutebi II crowned Ronald Mulondo as the Muzira Mu Bazira of CBS FM and as a prize. He was rewarded with the land on which the school seats today. The Professional teacher with a wide range of teaching and administrative experience, decided to set up a quality Secondary school to achieve the National and Kingdom’s Educational objectives of extending education to all Children of Uganda.
Why it was named Saint Peter?
Saint Peter died (AD 64–68) He is known as Peter the Apostle and was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ and one of the first leaders of the early Christian Church. He appears repeatedly and prominently in all four New Testament gospels as well as the Acts of the Apostles.
Catholic tradition accredits Peter as the first bishop of Rome—or pope—and also as the first bishop of Antioch. He was given the name Peter (meaning a rock) after Jesus had described him as the rock upon which the Church would be built.
One of the major achievements over the years is that the school which was started on an acre of land has now developed and expanded to over 11 acres.

At St. Peter’s Secondary School Bombo Kalule, we are committed to delivering exceptional service, fostering academic excellence, professionalism, integrity and moral uprightness as well as supporting our community. It is with immense gratitude that I communicate to you the Audience of St. Peter's SS Bombo Kalule, a family that has brought us together for a common, but key purpose and foundation of our children in Nation building-Education. This is a ringing ‘Bell’ that calls all of us together conditioning us to join hands and efforts to support, with different but clearly laid down roles to play as students, teachers and parents.
Slightly over a decade ago (2009), I was crowned as The Omuzira Mu Bazira of CBS FM the Kabaka founded radio and given a prize of an acre of Land. This sounded a loud bell in my mind about what my King intended in this project ...
