Dear St. Peter’s family,
Welcome to our website! It is with great pride and excitement that I extend a warm greeting to all of you. At St. Peter’s Secondary School Bombo Kalule, we are committed to delivering exceptional service, fostering academic excellence, professionalism, integrity and moral uprightness as well as supporting our community. Our team’s dedication and passion drive us forward as we strive to exceed expectations and make a meaningful impact.
It is with immense gratitude that I communicate to you the Audience of St. Peter's SS Bombo Kalule, a family that has brought us together for a common, but key purpose and foundation of our children in Nation building-Education. This is a ringing ‘Bell’ that calls all of us together conditioning us to join hands and efforts to support, with different but clearly laid down roles to play as students, teachers and parents.
Slightly over a decade ago (2009), I was crowned as The Omuzira Mu Bazira of CBS FM the Kabaka founded radio and given a prize of an acre of Land. This sounded a loud bell in my mind about what my King intended in this project which many other people had won and others also came after me. The answer was to put aside selfish interests in this gain, but to start a project that was directly in line with my profession which I inherited from my late mother Florence Nambassa, who went to meet her God with the love of teaching, a career I am doing with passion and great pride. St. Peters Ss Bombo Kalule with twenty seven learners was therefore the answer, born on 7th February, 2011. I am glad to inform you that we have lately developed the school into one of the best and giant schools in Uganda with about 13 acres of land. Despite our challenges we face together with you in this family, I take a bold moment to congratulate you for this part of the journey so far moved, that has set a good foundation for a bright future ahead of us.
Dear stake holders, the school has not only developed in infrastructure, we have also managed to build a strong foundation academically over the past years. Our students at both O and A level have always represented us well scoring 8 in 8 and 20 points respectively. They have made us proud through their great performance that enabled them to join different universities on national merit and also joined different professions working in and outside Uganda.
As teachers we appreciate the fact that we are in a global changing world just like our Mission is. We therefore focus on equipping our learners with survival skills alongside the academic knowledge. We make sure that all learner leave school with a skill that can earn them a living. The supplementary Vocational courses like bakery, hairdressing, plumbing, building-construction, fashion and design, welding as well as making perfumes lately on board, spice up the national curriculum to produce an all-round student. With has a modern and well equipped bakery, a full set of music band instruments, a good number of electronic sewing machines and the alembic machine which is used to make perfumes among others, enables us achieve a lot.
As the years go onwards, our mission as St. Peters SS Bombo Kalule is to build a morally, spiritually and academically self-reliant students who fit in the global changing world. This has been achieved through embracing technology. The school has a well-stocked and networked computer laboratory where every learner interacts with his or her own computer during lessons. Teachers have embraced the digital era through the use of projectors and internet in teaching, which has enabled our learners to compete in the global digital economy and equipped them with knowledge on E- commerce.
The school’s objectives are to nurture future responsible citizens, but we are aware that it cannot be achieved without the spiritual aspect. We aim at building a God fearing spirit in our learners through regular prayers, counseling and catechism lessons regardless of their diversity in affiliation. This has made us pride in being one of the outspoken schools in building acceptable morals in our learners. Indeed, one expects a changed child having gone through our professional all-round programs.
We live in a rich cultural country with various cultural diversities. Our school exploits such God given treasures to explore unity in diversity through embracing students’ cultures in Music-Dance and Dramma. Staging the Kiganda dance reminds us of our ancestry, The Northern Rakarala, The Bola, Kisoga and Kitagururo, the Gisu and others performed by our students, makes their school closer to home all of which lead to talent development.
There is no doubt therefore, that with hands put together as a family. Each playing its roles with passion and purpose, the future will continue to be bright and fruitful. As the director, I believe in the power of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement. Every step we take is guided by these principles, and they shape the way we serve our clients, partners, and employees. Thank you for visiting, and we look forward to connecting with you. Whether you're here to explore our services, learn about our values, or join our journey, we are thrilled to have you with us.
